Heck yes!

Woohoo! What a week! I'm lovin my Friday already!

This week has been good. Monday was no school of course. I just decided to be lazy all day and didn't do a whole lot. I did hang out with a few of my friends and Kendra was here too, so it was alright! Monday, I also got pulled over by a cop for my second time ever. Also my second time in two weeks.(: Mom-there is no need for any comments please!

Tuesday started school back up again...yay....School, I must say, is a little boring this semester. Not that exciting of classes:( I mean-who really "loves" Biology and Math?! Oh well-requirements requirements...

I am enjoying choir though. Infact-Monday I am going to MEXICO! I am SOOOOO very excited! Our choir, along with our wonderful orchestra, is doing a tour down there. We will have 5 performances and we will stay with host families. I'm looking forward to that. I'm not sure which part of Mexico we will be in. I do know our first city is Chiuawa-didn't spell that right....And some other parts as well. We will be performing at the Music Conservitory, as well as a couple of cathedrals. The Catholic Cathedrals are completely amazing. I got to go to one when our family visited Mexico City last summer and it was really my favorite part of the whole trip! It's going to be so awesome to be able to sing in them this time. So, I will be gone Mon-Wens and I can't wait for the fun times about to happen!

Other than that, I did make it as a "villager" in Fiddler on the Roof. We had our first rehearsal last night. Simple-we just did a read through and started practicing the famous song, "Tradition"! I am so excited to be taking part in this play. It's going to be awesome! We perform at the end of March!

Well, I don't think much is going on this weekend, but I will be ready for Monday to come! Have a great one ya'll!

Ok....

Ok..........First of all, I have learned that I should not blog things right away, or things that are uncertain per se. I am no longer dating Adam. It's really a long explanation that I don't want to get into. So, that is over, done with. Again, long story. If you really want details-I won't tell you over a blog haha.
Anyway, I had an ok weekend. Unfortuantly I caugh a cold/cough. More coughing than anything, but I am finally getting over it. I took benadryl friday night and it did not wear off until I went to bed SATURDAY night. Therefore, I was completely loopy and dead all day Saturday lol! It was an interesting sight i'm sure! Kendra, my roommie from last semester is here visiting and she made fun of me of course! Oh well...I am still coughing but have gotten a lot of rest so I'm feeling lots better!
Tomorrow I have callbacks for Fiddler on the Roof. I am pretty sure I will be at least a chorus member but I'm excited to get rehearsals going! My life will be busier, but hey-its what I do!

I decided that Tuesday and Wednesday's are my busiest day though. Tuesday's I have classes from 9-1 and then my bio lab from 1-4. Wednesday I have class from 8-1 and then I work from 1-4. Crazy! I love those days-I get to eat a granola bar on my way to classes.....anyway.............This was a quick random blog but I gotta run and enjoy the rest of my day off!
Have a great week everyone!

Hello all!
Well, it has been a very interesting last few days! First things first, Thus far, school has been good. I think I'm already tired of it though! Thats alright-it will start getting busier and faster before I know it! Especially if I end up in the musical! As far as my job. I got a new one! It didn't work out with the bas
ketball coach and so I decided to find a new job, which I am now working in the counseling office at the front desk! I think I'm going to like it. It will be easier and worth my time. So yeah.....Other than that things are actually going well.
Speaking of......I am dating someone. Yes I know, that came out of no where! But its true. His name is Adam and I met him last friday at the Institute Dance. He just moved here this semester and is a really awesome guy!

So we met Friday night and ended up together a few days later. So, It's been fast yes, but we are working on making it slow. I like him a lot though(:
So, just thought I'd let you all know!
This coming weekend is a 3 day weekend and I'm already looking forward to it! I think a bunch of us are going to go camping Friday which I have not done in a while!
Anywho, hope you all are having a great week. Leave me some comments!

Day one down, a million to go!

Day one of semester 2 at EAC has come and gone. I think this semester will be alright. I haven't seriously sat down and thought about it quite yet. Then again, I never take time to sit down and think about things-not intentionally anyways(: Anyway, the day began at 5:45am for me. I really had kind of a restless night unfortunantly. I was probably just thinking about today and everything and so I tossed and turned a bit. Oh well-I'll sleep great tonight! My first class(Biology-kill me)was at 8. You are probably asking why I got up so early. Well-sometimes it takes me a while to get up and going, plus I wanted to actually make breakfast for my first day-eggs and blueberry muffins-yum! So, I went to Biology-should be interesting, lots of studying, but my teacher is great and very very funny! Math-well, we all now how well math and I get along. Hopefully It will go alright. I decided to move on to the next level which is Elementary Algebra. I am going to pray really hard this semester! After my first two classes on Mon/Wens/Fri, I will have an hour break before going to Intro to Drama-which will be totally awesome-and Choir. Then I am done for the day! (1 PM). Tuesday I just have math and my Book of Mormon Institute class which I'm excited about. (BOM, NOT math!)And of course Choir. I also have my bio lab Tues afternoons which should be interesting. So my schedule is pretty alright actually.

I am in the process of finding a new job. Long story....more details on that later. Don't worry-I didn't get fired....per se....

I also decided that I am going to go ahead and audition for this semesters musical-Fiddler on the Roof! I am very excited to take part in this so hopefully I can get a part! I will audition in a week(:

Other than that, I'm back in the swing of things here at good ol EAC! Hope you all are having a marvelous week!

Mr Byalystock-I"M BACK! -Matthew Broderick in The Producers

That's right. I'm home in Thatcher. Yay! It was time to come back, and so I did(: I think that my break was starting to get a little long! And its wierd transitioning from home to independence and back again, and then back again. Sorry, that was confusing(:
Well, I returned Saturday noon-ish and right at the same time, my new roommate, Whitney, was moving in. So it was fun to meet her! She is a pretty cool girl! The twins also came home that afternoon and we all just kinda got settled in. Emily, one of my best friends from Show Low, also moved in this weekend to an apartment just 2 buildings over from mine so I am THRILLED to have her here! Should be a fun semester filled with more craziness!
This morning, I went and talked with my counselor about my math class that I unfortunantly got a [beautiful] D in this past semester. Yeah, I kinda screwed things up there. Well anyway-he granted me permission to move forward to the next level due to the fact that I have test anxiety. I got a lot to work to do this semester! However, I did decide to drop my anthropology class so that I will only have 14 credits, instead of 17. I'd like to try to keep my stress level down...yeah right. But less classes will probably boost my GPA up. Arrrgh! The fun of college. I am having a good attitude though and am determined to do well this semester. I am highly considering auditioning for a play as well. The big musical they are doing this semester is "Fiddler on the Roof". I'm not sure if I will do that one, because there are also other small productions that the Fine Arts department does so I will see whats happening and go from there! I really miss acting and performing as I did in high school so I really would like to keep it all up as long as I can! I'm sure I will stay busy as always, but its what I do!
There are lots of new people moving in this semester so I hope to meet lots of them and make new friends as well.
Also, as a "welcome back" from my [lovely] bishopric(:. I'm speaking in church this coming Sunday. My topic will be Fellowshiping. A very different topic for me, but I got it mostly written last night so I just gotta time it and stuff. I really do enjoy speaking and teaching so I think it will go well. (and mind you-I don't normally admit that!)
School starts up Wednesday and I'm actually looking forward to new classes, new adventures, and in a way, a new me. It's really amazing how much you can change, and even change your outlook on things, in just a few months. Have a great week everyone!

Learn to Fall, Life changes, Dream Big

2008. It's official! I think I watched 2007 flash before my eyes last night as we counted down to midnight! Crazy stuff! I went to a young single adult dance they had here in Show Low and didnt' get home til 3 am(: It was super fun let me tell ya! Lots of people and I got to see some of my friends from Thatcher too! Good times.
Now, its a new year. I really think more happened this year than usual. Well, at least more that I can remember. Allow me to reminescense a few memories...............................
In January a year ago, I started dating Beau. Amazing how things can change.
In May, I graduated from the 4 longest/shortest/life changing years of my life-High School.
In July, Beau and I broke up. Life changes change.
In August I moved to Thatcher to start my first year of college at EAC. What a new life!
-During the first semester, I made decisions that I never thought I would or could make.
-During the first semester, I learned what a bad idea taking 17 credits is!
-During the first semester, I learned how to budget money better and spend it wisely-yay poor college students!
-During the first semester, I learned to spread my wings and fly and not be so timid.
-And during the first semester, I learned that believe it or not, it can be hard to really put your trust in the Lord, but I tried and I counted on nothing else but Him to get me through. I believe that mistakes made really are to learn from. Even if you think something should work out a different way-there would be no other way to learn if you plan it how you want. There's a quote that says, "We must be willing to let go of the life we have planned, so as to have the life that is waiting for us." Its so true. "Fear less, hope more; whine less, breathe more; talk less, say more; hate less, love more; and all good things are yours."
It's been a good year, and I think I learned more than I ever have, thus far in my life. I have an amazing family, and wonderful friends that are completely the best! I couldn't ask for better of either! I love you all!
I'm greatful for this year because of the life lessons I have truly learned. It's amazing how many there are! I 'm excited to start a new year, make new goals and.......Learn to Fall, See Life Changes, and Dream Big.
