When push comes to shove, you taste what you're made of

Week # whatever has gone by. It feels like its been a long time since this semester has started, but I have a million miles to go still. And yet, life goes on.

This week was good. It included no rehearsals, Single's Awareness Day, and oh-I failed my biology test! Anywho, really, the week was alright. I stayed busy trying to keep up with school. Biology and Math really keep me on my feet it seems, and I'm kind of struggeling with it all. I had a discussion with my math teacher about my stress and he seems to think I should not be taking those 2 subjects at the same time. Well sorry man! I can't exactly drop either of them since I have to take at least 12 credits to keep a scholarship. And I have 14 right now. Then again, I also have to keep good grades, to keep the scholarship.

I think part of my biggest problem is, I don't have enough faith in myself. That is seriously the hardest thing to do right now. I suppose its all part of figuring out who I really am and how my life is going somewhat. I'm considering more online classes next semester. I think I might work better on my own than in a classroom. I don't know-I need to do some research first. Any thoughts from anyone or advice on that? LET ME KNOW please!

Anywho, sorry to rant like that(: Single Awareness Day was [great]. My mom sent me a box of valentine goodies! Thanks agian mom! I ate them all, along with listening to my usual Valentine's music of Kelly Clarkson! Thursday night I went on a date with my roommate Whitney(: Jk, we actually went and babysat my niece and nephew while my sis went out with her hubby! We then returned home and watched the very romantic, "Return to Me"
Good times good times! Last night we had a really fun Institute Dance! Lots of people considering its a 3 day weekend and a lot of people left town! It was great. After that, my roommates and I came home and watched Gilmore Girls until 3 am! And today, I scrapbooked my Mexico pictures, while watching Gilmore Girls-ALL DAY! Well, for about 6 hours(: A friend of mine has all the seasons of that show, so I'm starting from the beggining and watching all of it because its pretty much one of my very favorite tv shows!
Now, I decided to finally blog again. Oh also, this week I'm very very excited because I get to go HOME!!!!!! Wednesday through Friday, A capella choir and the band! We are touring the white mountains, which of course includes Show Low. Infact, we are staying the night in Show Low and so I will stay at my house with my family! I'm actually thrilled to go see them and my friends as well. Should be a fun few days. I will remain in Show Low for the weekend instead of returning with the choir. I have a very dear friend getting married so I'll stay and come back with a friend that is going to school here! Missing school for 3 days, should be interesting however. But I'm going to work through it!
Well, I suppose I could go eat some dinner now and maybe study some! Have a great weekend everyone! And again-any thoughts on online courses?
Ciao!

Hi, Rachelle--I haven't heard of "single awareness day." Did they have fun activities for it? Also, online classes are fine but they take lots of SELF-motivation. You don't have to attend class regularly like you do now, but it's also easy to just let days and weeks slide by because nobody is on your case except YOU.

Happy Sunday tomorrow!

So glad you let your mother know you're staying the weekend - thanks for the warning - now I actually have to clean the house, huh!

Ok i have an online class right now and it's pretty nice because I can do it whenever I want but it takes LOTS of self motivation. I had a different online class last semester that i had to end up dropping because it was tooo time consuming. So it just depends on what class you take and how much self motivation you have. i don't have much motivation but i am making myself get through this one. don't take any higher than 100 level classes online though, for sure :)

p.s. mine is MUS 100...music notation so it's super easy. the first month of stuff was stuff i learned in like 4th grade. now it's getting deeper but ya..if they have something like that, i think you'll do good!
